'Passage: A Collection of Land and Seascapes' - Liane Stevenson
Extended until Sunday 3rd December 2023!
We are delighted to announce our new exhibition, Passage: A Collection of Land and Seascapes by Bristol artist, Liane Stevenson.
The action of going or moving onward, across, or past: movement from one place or point to another, or over or through a space or medium.
Liane Stevenson studied Fine Art at Bristol Polytechnic in the 1980s and has been working in a variety of media ever since. Her latest collection of work, Passage, is inspired by personal experiences that move towards abstraction, but remain rooted in the present. She states, ‘I am Inspired by rhythm, pattern and mood in encountered landscapes’ - themes the artist hopes to capture in her work.
Drawing is the foundation of Liane’s practice, but she enjoys experimenting with colour and mixed media. She has been involved in numerous exhibitions, and has shown work in The Mall Galleries, London, The Victoria Gallery, Bath and the RWA in Bristol. Based in North Somerset, Liane finds inspiration in rural and urban landscapes, the natural world and portraiture.
Passage will be showing at The White Horse Gallery between Friday 3rd November – Wednesday 29th November 2023, during shop opening hours.
We look forward to seeing you there!
