Uncovering a family secret, Gracie decides she has had enough of lies. Instead, her new pledge is to be brutally honest to everybody she meets. Honesty is the best policy, right? Well, Gracie's uncle might find her new honesty refreshing, and her parents might put up with it - but the customers at her waitressing job have mixed feelings, and her college friends have surprising reactions. Gracie finds herself in all kinds of hilarious misadventures and embarrassing situations as she tries to put right an accidental, honest wrong - first, elbows-deep in clay at the potter's wheel, then cadging a lift to Cornwall, and finding a good use for ten papier mache coconuts. And Gracie hasn't even thought how her girlfriend will take her honesty.
