Rémy Brunel has left her life as a jewel thief behind, but will young detective Thaddeus Rec ever truly trust her? It's been three months since Rémy and Thaddeus saved London from an underground army, but things haven't quite turned out how Rémy had hoped. Torn between her new life and her old, Rémy's mind is made up when Yannick, a fellow circus performer from her past, arrives in London. Rémy decides it is time to go with him to France and rejoin her best friend Claudette and the Circus of Secrets. Thaddeus, however, is sure that Yannick is up to no good.
