Jake Winkle

Throughout his career, Jake's work has been widely shown and regarded. In 2007, his paintings were selected for the Royal Society of British Artist’s exhibition in The Mall Galleries, London. Since then, he has been regularly contributing articles about his painting style for The Artist magazine. He has won best in show at the Marwell International Wildlife Art Society’s annual exhibition, and his book,
Light and Movement in Watercolour was published in 2012.

Continuously inspired by light and movement, Jake’s paintings reflect the natural world around him. As well as exhibitions in London and the south of England, he has undertaken fine art commissions for individuals and large organisations globally, including The National Trust.

Jake Winkle is also a tutor here at The White Horse Bookshop, running popular watercolour workshops. We are delighted to have his artworks on display in the gallery, during our Summer School.
