
The Annual Open Art Exhibition 2025
We are pleased to announce the return of
The White Horse's Annual Open Art Exhibition.
As many of you will be aware, the exhibition is open to everyone and all work submitted will be exhibited, as long as it follows the strict rules listed below. There is no submission or approval process (unless it's a small sculpture - see below).
If you wish to show your work, please just bring it to The White Horse Bookshop during shop opening hours from today until Saturday 3rd May. There is a non-refundable entry fee of £20, payable upon delivery of the work. When you deliver your piece, we will also ask you to fill out a small form with your contact details and artwork information.
The exhibition will be open from Friday 9th May - Sunday 1st June 2025. A separate invitation to the Private View will follow nearer the time.
The rules are as follows:
- Only one entry is allowed per person.
- All work must be framed and no bigger than 50cm x 50cm including the frame.
- All work must be original – i.e. not copied from someone else’s work or photograph.
- All work must have ‘D’ rings attached approx. 2 inches below from the top of the frame, facing inwards (see image below). There is no need for wire or cord for our hanging purposes.

-All work must be brought to The White Horse Bookshop by Saturday 3rd May.
- All work must be for sale and The White Horse Bookshop will take a 30% commission on any sales.
- Small sculpture will be accepted but will need to be approved before submission – to ensure that it can be safely displayed.
